The Gorge of Playing Musical Instrument

   In the Ancient age, it is green hills and clear waters picturesque scenery. Two peaks stand face to face. A brook cross them in the middle. The water rams the rocks phonating tone which sounds like the tone of the musical instrument. So it is called The Gorge of Playing Musical Instrument.

The stone which can see Beijing from the top of it

   There is a inartificial granite in the front of the "Yuyong Wai County" road. It is height 2 mitres. It face to the north, and carved "望京石" three words. On the stone, Seeing the south, the trees are layer upon layer, the mountains and cloud drifts are unpredictable. If the weather is fair, you could see the Beijing city out of the one hundred li.

The Guizhou Stele and Pavilion

   The Guizhou Stele and Pavilion is located between Badaling 5th and 6th fight towers. It is a little white pavilion, it was built in the 1987 year. It is used to commemorate the Guizhou province repairing the Great Wall.
The architectural design is very novelty, the shape is simple and straightforward, It was imbibed the local color of Guizhou place. It is so harmonious and with matey the the boundless Great Wall.

   The shape of the stele and pavilion is squareness, the length and wide are 4 mitres, the height is 5.8 mitres. There is a transparent skylight in the center on the top of the pavilion which is carve pieces of drawing.

   In the center of the pavilion, there is a stele. The stone was carried here from Guizhou province weight one ton. The foundation is green granite which produce from Luodian county in the Guizhou province. On the stele, it is carved "爱我中华修我长城". From the pavilion, overlooking the Badaling Great Wall is very grand.

The Green Dragon Drinking Water Conversely

   There is well which is located in the north to the Jingzhang Road. Besids the well, there is a patch of reddish brown stone cliff. And there is a strip of caesious stone ridge wides 0.2 metre. It looks like a green dragon. So they have been called "The Green Dragon Drinking Water Conversely" together.

   It was formed from the underground magma that dipping from the ground cranny. The stone ridges on the both sides of it is reddish brown granites. But now because of the sparsity of the vegetation on the hill, the Dragon has no water to "drink".
